is a very unique case study that i want toshare with you and guest speaker that i'm going to be actually talking with. it's nothingto do with really internet marketing or video marketing, it's actually sort of left outof field and i want to get him on the call because he's a really good friend of mine,he's part of my mastermind group as well and he's done amazing things on youtube with videos.so let me introduce you to alex coulson. welcome to the call. alex: hi tyrone. thanks mate, how are you? excellent, excellent. really, really excitedto have you on because you've done some amazing
things with your youtube channel and alsotoo in the dating industry. so i might as well before we get into finding a little bitmore what you've done, maybe share a little bit more about what your sites are and alsoto let people know what's been happening there as well. yeah sure no worries. well, i have a coupleof sites but i started about 5 years ago with just uploading basic videos of me giving datingadvice out so just for those who don't know anything about me, i'm actually a dating coach.i can set myself one of australia's - one of australia's leading dating expert. so ijust give dating advice to men on how to meet more women, how to approach women, how tostart normal conversations without fear or
nervousness and i basically do a vlog whichis a video blog and i release videos constantly. i have several different youtube channelswhich i'll talk to - to you shortly about but i upload massive, massive videos. i haveroughly about - in one youtube channel i have about 150 videos in one youtube channel andi've got 1, 2 - i've got 4 different youtube channels. so a lot of my traffic and for those - youknow who - a lot of my traffic, a lot of my conversions, all about success in the last5 years has been actually with videos. making videos and uploading videos, and editing,i do my own editing i don't outsource that not because i don't want to but because youknow, most of the people watching my videos
they can - they can tell. yeah, they don't need fancy graphics flyingin and all that. i'm just basically sitting in my kitchen, it's just windows movie makerand i'll just cut and edit my own videos. i've done no courses at all in the past, that'swhat my subscribers like. excellent. now i should probably reveal alittle statistic here. the reason why i've got alex on the call because he's achievedjust from one of his youtube channels over 6 million views so that's absolutely astoundingand i know from time to time alex gets the usual, "hey i know you, you're alex!". soyeah we've had a little joke about that, an
inside joke which i won't reveal here butthe reason why he's really that and i'm sure that a lot of listeners who are on this callwant to probably know how the heck did you get that many people because to start outand get a youtube channel going and also to get that many videos, i mean 150 is quitea lot but i know that a lot of other people have probably done hundreds and thousandsand have not even achieved 6 million views like you have on your channel. so with succeedatdating as well, how did youstart off with i guess with your first videos and then where did you gain that attractionto be able to take that snowball effect? yeah no worries. well how i started was - myfriend said to me i'll just make some videos,
give some basic dating advice out, there weremany people already doing this but i gave a little bit of my own spin, i sort of - itagged my videos correctly which is very important especially if you want to start video marketingif you want to upload videos to get more traffic or to get people visit to your website orto get people knowing about you, you do need to tag - your videos correctly and that'sexactly what i did, i made sure that my titles were perfectly tagged, like tagged - i woulddo probably research on what people are looking for in google and on youtube and i basicallytag them. i tag them appropriately. so alex say for example if people don't knowwhat tags are, maybe explain that because - let's say let's take an example then withany one of your videos if you're uploading
a brand new video up to youtube, what is itthat you usually do first? do you usually just upload the video first and then go upto the youtube search to type a keyword that you're searching for or that people potentiallyare searching for and then add it to the video? how do you go about that? sure, that's actually a good question. thefirst thing you need to do if you want to start doing video marketing is research whatpeople are looking for. so what information are they googling and what information arethey looking for when they go to youtube because usually you can find it out - the google keywordsselector tool, if you go to google and type that in - google keywords selector tool oruse market samurai which tyrone recommends,
you can actually find out what people arelooking for and then you make videos based on that criteria. so that way when people are watching yourvideos, they're like "oh great, well i'm glad i was looking for that video and alex deliveredon that content but it's great, i might just click through to these websites." so that's- but basically tagging in relation to your question tyrone, tagging - there's 3 partsto uploading a video. you can either title it correctly so what is a title of the video.so i made a video one day on how to start conversations with women as you - in the coffeeshops. so if you're having a coffee, how do you start conversations with the girl workingthere which was - you know how to basically
___, so i tagged the video how to flirt withcoffee waitresses and then i made a description under the video which have my website - normallypeople actually put their website and they should because it's a good link from a highpr or page rank website then put your link to your website in the description and putthe description. so my description was "learn how to start conversations with women in coffeeshops and strike up conversations, ask for a phone number and make a laugh. and visitmy website if you like to find out more information." that's all i put there and then i tagged thevideo with "coffee shop", "start conversations with women", "attract women", "talk to women"and if you google those or if you go to google keyword selector, those - the top 3 keywordsfor meeting women and attracting women are
"meet women", "attract women", "talk to women","start conversions with women" - they're huge and i made sure i included those tags in thevideo. so that's basically - so pretty much it's reverse engineering. youjust go out and find out what the market wants first before you even create a video. is thatcorrect to say? that's exactly right tyrone. i find what peopleare looking for and then i make videos and content based on that and that's it. theypretty much - it's full proof because people are looking for it, i know they're lookingfor it and i just satisfy that demand. well it sounds very easy but let's say whenyou're first starting out, and this is for any i guess person in any market. it doesn'tnecessarily mean that you're in the dating
marketing, the outsourcing market or the videomarket but - i guess the first thing is you've got a blank channel, you have complete cleanslate and it's blank. there's no videos, no nothing out there. as soon as you have createdthat first video as you said, and you've uploaded it, how do you get people to start viewingbecause not necessarily will your video rank on the first page for that keyword term right? it's not like you know, if you have somebodygot in say how to meet women or how to flirt with women, do you think your first videowill get to the first page of that keyword term? sometimes yes but most cases, not really unlessyou start getting massive amounts of views
to that video and then that way you get pushedout in the related videos section. so for those people listening to this now, they'rethinking what the hell is alex talking about. if you watch a video on youtube, usually tothe right of the video, there's related videos column where it shows you videos related tothe video you're watching at that time. so if you're watching a video on how to traina chihuahua, in the related videos to the right, there might be how to train bulldogsor how to train your dog to not bark and the related videos in there so if you - if youmake a video today and you want to jump in on that niche and get your video hundredsand hundreds of times within the first day, you need to tag it correctly and you needto get people - i mean if you want to be put
on the front page, you do need people watchingyour video fast and you can do that for a number of ways - okay. yeah sure, one way was promoted videos. iactually promoted some of my videos. that isn't how i got 6 million, i started doingthat after i broke that barrier but i'm actually selling a lot of my products through promotedvideos because not many people in my industry are doing it. and actually, not many peoplein other industries have got onto that, none of them were using promoted videos functionbut what you need to do is you make a video - something talking about really talking aboutyour website and selling it, selling the content
on your website. so for example, i'll use my dating business,i would make a video - i would say "hey everybody, if you like to learn to meet women duringthe day, strike up natural conversations, how to get girlfriend, how to start conversationswithout fear or nervousness, just head over to my website at www.mywebsite.com" and theni would upload the video and i would go to google adwords and there's heaps of trainingon this, there's heaps of free training on it everytime - how to get promoted videos, there's heaps of videos showing you how to upload your video and basically within thefirst probably day, i had about a thousand people watching it on that video, certainvideo that i uploaded the same day brought
a thousand people through promoted videosfunction. that's pretty cool. which is - yeah it is quite cool. it's actuallyquite cheap as well. many people here are advertising or have used google adwords before,it can get quite expensive. but because promoted videos - it hasn't taken off yet, the restof industries that are still quite competitive but no one's using promoted videos for examplehow to get 6 pack abs, there's no many people doing that it's like one person doing thatright now. really? okay i see that ad all the time, thatad comes up literally at promoted video how to get 6 pack abs -
yeah and it has million views as well. so something like that, how much would itcost to advertise? is it based on view or is it based on clicks? how does that work? it's based on a few things - same as the generaladwords, it's based on the video - it has to get many likes, it has to get many dislikes, people putting up thumbs up or thumbs down. but usually, if you got one of videos on yourchannel like i pay 3 cents. oh. to have one person watch one of my videos. it is cheap.
yeah - it is so several types on how to attractwith them which is huge in youtube, it's massive. it's - i've topped number one usually, there'sonly other 2 or 3 people, i pay 3 cents and that's probably because i've got massive amountsof video channels. people are actually thumbs-ing up, they're putting a thumb up for my videosaying it's an awesome video but also maybe there's not many competitors that's probablywhy it's cheap. but yeah sort of those listeners about businesses, i decided to make a videoor couple of videos, definitely try out promoted videos and investigate on that because you'llfind there's a lot of missed - oh sorry a lot of opportunity there right now. okay so you certainly de-bombed the myth becausei also personally thought promoted videos
would cost quite a bit of money just likegoogle adsense does - oh sorry google adwords i should say and google adwords as i knowhas been quite expensive for me to run particularly in this particular niche that i run in. so,yeah it'll be interesting to try it out, definitely try it on board. so you recommend i guestone thing is promoted videos to get your videos out onto where the related section is nextto those videos. any other tips on how to be able to get yourvideos next to the related videos besides using promoted videos? yeah there are - there are a few ways. youwant to - you can actually take existing videos that are very popular and do commentarieson those videos. someone actually did that
for one of my websites. they became my membersand they bought all my packages, my dating packages, and then they went into the websiteand made a review of my product - that's nice. and then put that on youtube which is - i'mokay with that, that's fine. and then that video ended up getting about 20,000 viewsand he ended up sending more traffic to my website, he was an affiliate as well so thatactually help and when you actually view some of my videos, his affiliate videos pop upjust to the right in the related section of my videos and he gets a lot of traffic aswell because he took one of my existing videos, the same title, and just made a commentaryon that.
you can actually post replies, now on videosyou can actually post reply or post a comment - or a video response. exactly, you post a video response and thatwould be tagged quite close to the video as well. so what i understand is it's okay then togo in there to say get a video that has got a lot of views like 100,000 views and do acommentary replying back to that video and hopefully if that video has a lot of views, you can get some of that traffic or those people who are watching that video to cometo you and have a look at your video. is that
sort of on the lines of what we're saying? yup, that's fine. i mean if you're givinga great - if you're taking that video and making good commentary on that video whichactually adds value then by all means it would be - that's a great way to get traffic toyour video. there is another tool i want to give away if that's all right tyrone? sure, anything that you give away i'm morethan happy for you to do. great. well i started a business, anotherbusiness about a year and a half ago and this business is all about importing from whichi've got different niches and this one's all about importing from china which isn't a bigniche. it's not - there's not many competitors
and it's not really that popular rather it'squite boring but we managed - i managed to use a tool, oh sorry a website called wikihow.so if you google wikihow, kind of like wikipedia that's called wikihow, these are basicallyhow-to pages on how to do certain things. so it's - and on those pages, you can actuallyadd your youtube videos. so i remember making a video - it was allabout how to import in china and we made this video and we put it on a wikihow page whichis on how to import in china and within about an hour i had about 50 views already on thatvideo which got - i started counting it's not a building account and this was - oh mani put this on about a year ago and it's pretty much exploded. we've had - in less than ayear about 100,000 video views on this channel
and - that's amazing. and a lot of it actually comes from wikihowso that's another unknown resource and normally people are taking advantage off right nowbecause there's heaps of niches like especially dog training, that was one i was doing a videoshowing a friend one day on no one's taking its use on wikihow and i've typed in dog trainingor how to train a dog and wikihow on google was number one. and i've clicked on it andno one had a video there so i just added somebody's video, someone else's video from youtube andi noticed i just monitored the video page for the next couple of days, i noticed theirvideo views just like going up very - like
a lot. everyday, it was going up by 200-300views and i was like whoa - you know this person doesn't even know i'mdoing a great favor for him. you should go back to him and say look whati did for you. which allowed me to do some more videos for you. that's how i kind of test sometimes, i hadsomeone else's video there just to test whether or not it's a good niche and their video viewsstarted going up and not many people are using wikihow and it's a great opportunity to addyour videos to content-relevant few other niches that's relevant that hasn't got anyvideos, add it to wikihow then by all means add your video. it's free traffic.
yeah, wow. that's very smart and also toofrom what i understand, this is just from what i hear and youtube has mentioned thatif you do embed your videos out onto other sites out there, it's actually a plus foryou because somehow it detects that you've got more embeds out besides inside youtubebut outside of youtube on blogs and other channels as well and that way it's sort ofanother plus like a thumbs up for your video and that way it should generate a lot moreinterest and rank your video higher. correct me if i'm wrong though? no, that's - i've heard the same sort of thingas well. so i think that's very similar especiallyif you embed your video on wikihow which is
a very high authority site, it would probablyrank your video much higher and much quicker too. so it's a very smart move to do. i'm loving all these tips, man what else cani ask you alex? well the reason why i actually made this videois for traffic. and there are some videos out there that have millions and millionsof views, just the niche on how to do music - i had to play piano online or i had to learnguitar. one video in that niche has like 13 million views - whew! at one video.
that's huge. and this person - yeah they don't even - thisperson has a link to their ebook whether it be teach me how to play guitar online, theymust be - it's a very successful company now. but the guy who did or eventually made thevideo, it isn't a professional video. like they don't have big green screen backdrops, they don't have lights, expensive lighting. it's just some guy in his bedroom playinga guitar and it's got 13 million hits and he will be quite successful selling his ebook. that's right. yeah, i'm just saying the reason why if youhave a business or you sell something online,
by all means start making videos because whatyou'll find is you'll start making rapport with your customers. like i - we made thesevideos and people watching they go wow, i really like this alex person, i like to findout more information about it and when they click through to my website, hopefully theybuy from me but it's great because it builds more and more trust. definitely, that's a huge, huge positive oradvantage of having videos on youtube because i found the same thing as well. people havealso said that when they - before they even met me, they already know who i am and alsobump into me on the street saying hey i know you. and i'm like oh hi, i've never met youbefore but yes, it's really great to be able
to know you beforehand. and it breaks down that barrier because whenyou're reading say for example a salespage or a text and you've got nothing there ofa person, but when you start seeing a video of them, it just really makes them feel atease that they can trust that your content or whatever you're offering to them is forreal because you can't hide behind a video unless you had a mask or something. that's right and actually that's one of thereasons why i found out about you tyrone. a couple of years ago i saw one of your videosonline and that's how i found out one of your seminars and i came to your seminar and imet you.
yes that's right. it was also actually - it's all through anoutsourcing video that i saw. yeah there you go, alex has proved they'recorrect. haha. hey so if we go back to your channel, i actuallylike to ask you after this which actually needs sort of time really well because you'retalking about creating these videos to build trust but also too, from there, they willbe interested in visiting your website to potentially purchase your products. so whathave you done to be able to do that because a lot of people have been able to upload andput videos in there but they don't know how to convert these people to come over and buyyour products or services. how have you done
that? sure well there's a couple of things thati make sure each video i make contains. so first of all is some cool intro. there aresome ways you can outsource some cool intro - you know something of music that has dadadada...haha,that's just embarrasing. no that's cool. that's a little bit of interestinto the podcast. it does, it makes it a way more interesting.i went to fiverr.com and i think you recommended that a while back especially in your seminaryou recommended that - www (dot) five r with an extra r at the end (dot) com. and i paid$5 to this lady and she made a nice looking intro and i use that in one of my videos.and i made sure each video had my link in
it as well. i see so many videos on youtubeand no one's putting their link in it, no one's having a link to their website wherethey should most definitey do that. if they'll make any videos to only get traffic, and build trust and rapport then have a link in it. so whatever your website is, put thatactually in the video. this can easily be done. you don't need - editing experience.you can go to windows movie maker, that's what i use for first 2 years of editing allmy videos. it's easy - just drag and drop, you just drag and drop, type in your web addressand that's it. and at the end of each one of my videos, i always have an action step.the action step is - it's not to watch another one of my videos on youtube, it's actuallyto go to my website. so i always them something
of free value so for example it'll be like- if you find out more informatoin or more free videos from me, go to succeedatdating.comand i'll see there. and that's it, that's all i do at the end of each video and thatactually brings in more traffic to my website. in my business right now, i'm not spending- i'm spending about 10 bucks a week on advertising promoted videos and the rest of my traffic,or my sales come from youtube as free just free traffic. it's great it's like a traffictap. yeah it is, it just keeps coming and coming.you can't stop it and if you wanted to, you wouldn't be able to would you? yeah. that's right and there is one more thing i'dlike to add and this isn't really some people
might look at this and go hmm, that's a littlesneaky but i have no more issue with this and - you'd be the judge of this. i take my videos - the reason why we've hadso many video views. on one video channel, we've had about 6,031,000 views and then i'vegot 4 different channels. another channel will have close to 700,000 views and in anotherchannel we've had about 850,000 views and i've actually got another 2 more channelswhich have massive amounts of views. the reason why i have so many different channels andnot just one is i take my existing videos and then i duplicate those videos and putthem on another channel. there's nothing stopping you if you upload10 videos to your youtube channel. there's
nothing stopping you from actually signingup with another account and uploading that same videos to that account and you're spreading- pretty much you're just spreading your web, you're just spending your arms getting moretraffic. if your videos are great and they help people solve a problem or you solve - solvean issue then you should be doing your best by putting the videos out there as much asyou can to get them to find out about you and your product. so that's exactly what idid. i took my videos and i just put them on 4 different channels and i didn't thinkmuch of it to start off with, i didn't really monitor the traffic but there wasn't i noticedprobably about 2 or 3 months later that more and more traffic was coming our way and itwasn't until i checked out the youtube channel
page and i noticed we've had about 300,000views and counting on those channels. some people don't even get a thousand views - that's what i was going to say. you kind ofget that. so basically, the original videos that you had in your first channel, you'llupload it to another channel which you'll name something else? exactly. you're going to have to bust this myth becausei don't believe in that. i'm going to challenge you on this alex. sure.
i usually don't do this but what about uniquecontent and unique - yeah unique content on the web because google usually doesn't likethat as well. they really do punish i guess - sites with duplicate content, not necessarilya video because they can't tell but if they do have original content that's duplicate, they don't like that and they can easily get into the sandbox for that. obviously youtubehasn't done anything to see that. no that's fine. youtube actually recently, just recently - they started monitoring youtube videos so again, this is just something ido, it's very simple to do. i add 10 seconds to each duplicate video i have and that wayit doesn't count as the original video. so for those people who can't follow this it'si take my original 10 videos and each one
of those videos, i just add 10 seconds tothat video and then i upload it to the other channel and that way, youtube will not beable to find out it's duplicate content. and you raised a good point tyrone about uniquecontent of the web. i see youtube as - it's just one huge search engine. youtube is like- youtube is the world's second biggest search engine. people type in youtube, it's googlefirst and next youtube and there's so much content out there. i would say the peoplelooking for my videos or typing in how to meet women or how to attract women or howto get a girlfriend because there's so many videos, there's thousands and thousands ofvideos there even if i duplicate it 20 times, people might only see one of my videos.
yeah, i kind of actually now think about thatit's possible to do that. i would probably even take it one step further is to edit thesevideos and take snippets out of it so that way, you can have different times and differentsize of the videos so that it won't look exactly that. so in many ways it's sort of just republishingthe content if we want to put it rather than copying the content because we know that theword copying is not liked too much but if we republish, or repurpose the content, it'sactually not a bad thing or actually it's a good thing. exactly and these videos, like i said beforeare not hard to put together. i put so many
different varieties of videos, like for examplei might have unhappy customer of mine that i meet but hopefully all my customers arehappy but i meet some happy customers in the street, i have my flip video camera and iget their testimonial and i say would you mind, do me some feedback about my productand they do, they give you video content - video feedback and i actually put that on my youtubechannel. and i might do a podcast for somebody and i might turn that audio into a video andput that on my youtube channel so it's not just me necessarily talking to a camera. itcould be different things from podcasts, video testimonials, it could be recent seminarsand take recent seminars and take little snippets of my recent seminars and i put those on thereas well just to mix it up a bit for my subscribers.
yeah that's definitely a good thing and iguess if you've got content that comes out in different times and content that comesout that's unique and also some republished content, it's all cool to do because the moreyou get out there, the more that you'll be seen and the more that you'll be - there'sa higher chance that you'll be found so that way people can be offered your products aswell. do you - exactly right. do you put your same video that you have uploadedor that similar one that you repurposed on that other channel with exactly the same titletags and also same description and tags or
is it changed? ah it is changed and the reason i do thatis there's so many ways of getting the attention of your customer and rather than just - i'verepurposed the video but i also changed the tags, i changed the title and i changed thedescription to something else that's very popular. so for example my original videomight be on how to attract women and when i add it to the new youtube channel, i mighttitle as how to meet women. it's the same video, it's pretty much the same topic buti actually just - i make sure it has a new title, new description, new tags because thatactually helps reach more people. it actually helps with the reach and - helps avoidingthe duplication issues as well.
yeah definitely and it makes sense to do itthat way because there's no point to put the same words and titles into that other channelas well. you might as well target other keywords as we're talking about there. before we sort of got side tracked and startedtalking about creating another channel or for other channels we're talking about, thequestion i guess we're just talking about just then was about getting these views convertingover to say leads to convert over to purchasing products on your site. is there a particularprocess that is involved? because you obviously created a very successful business behindthis and i think a lot of people would love to know how you've done that as well so wouldyou mind to share some of the insights there
as well alex? yeah sure well first of all, you have thevideos to build rapport and trust and to get traffic on youtube and if they go to yourwebsite, there's no point sending them to a website that's nothing there. you've gotto put something else. you've got to make sure you have at least an opt-in page whichis usually a name and email address and i put a video on that page as well. so i don't just use video for traffic, i useit for opt-ins to get people opting in to my email list, i also get it to convert peopleto buyers. so for example when you opt-in to my video, if you go to succeedatdating.comand you opt-in to that video, there'll be
a thank you page where i give my content andthen i say "hey, watch my free videos below. you'll like it, you'll learn how to meet womenand attract women. but better yet, if you want to get my homestudy course, you go rightdown to the bottom of the page and click the button click to order and order it now." andi've got a 30-day money back guarantee and i actually say that in a video because it'sbetter to say it in a video where they're seeing you, seeing your face, hearing yourwords and again it builds more trust if people need to buy from you. but, yeah i use video especially when i'mdoing launches as well. if you're about to launch product, i make sure i do a video series,4, 5 different videos launching that particular
product but tyrone i have to say and to behonest to you that i would not ever release a product without using at least 4-5 videos. i totally agree with you, i can totally agreewith you. you need to deal that rapport and for people to come over to your site, theywant to actually see something that's really there like if there's no content there tosee and to watch - to really build up that rapport because really, they're for videosthat we're talking about here, really a long, long sales page we've broken it down becauseit's all those main points that you want to convey to them and hopefully by the last videoeven probably by the second or third video, you've already convinced them that you'vealready got great products here that they
are willing to buy and they want to buy withouthaving to force sell or promote heavily to them and then let them make that choice. exactly and there is a good case study onamazon.com as well all know the world's number one shopping site, people pretty much buyanything. hmm. have started using videos and this is thenumber one shopping site in the world and they spent millions and millions of dollarson their marketing, testing different parts of their website and it just goes to showfor those who are still kind of doubting this is going to work, this video is going to helpmy business, amazon have recently started
using videos because i know it converts. soin this example if you want buy a video camera and you go to amazon and you scroll down tothe page, you actually see actual video demonstration of that camera pretty much in most productsthey have out there. ebay is sort of doing the same thing now, users who have ebay accountscan actually upload video reviews of clients and testimonials from customer purchases andthey can also actually have demonstrations on how to assemble certain products. but usingvideo definitely does convert people to buy your product. wow, it's amazing since you just talked aboutthat because i used to be an ebay seller too, i've been on ebay for a while and it's greatthat they have implemented that option where
we can upload reviews because it would helpsell the product much faster and quicker as well, too and just build that trust that whateveryou're selling actually works as well. so it'd be cool you know you can actually getonto camera and show them exactly how this bonus works and it's a second hand phone andit's still working. whereas people look at pictures and go hmm, still not sure, i wantto actually see that picture and i want to come and feel that phone to make sure it isworking. so i've had people telling me that they've been scammed or had issues with thingslike that as well online. exactly yeah. that is amazing. so since you're talking about4 of the other sites or 3 of the other sites
that you've got in addition to succeed withdating, what could you share because i know we've been talking about this previously butthe other couple of sites, you've got one that's also a spanish - in a spanish languageas well - yes. and that's done exceptionally well. what wasthe reasoning behind why you decided to expand into a different language? well i wanted to test the hispanic marketwhich is quite big in the united states so what i did is i took my existing videos, iduplicated those videos and i got - i hired someone outsourced. i outsourced someone.
good, good. i outsourced someone live to actually subtitleeach of the videos and reupload the videos so now i have my videos - they're not dubbed, they're just translated and transcribed with some subtitles on it. and - i uploaded thatto another youtube channel which is a youtube channel i think it's ___ which means how tomeet women or something like that. i don't speak spanish. i've got to ask you do you speak spanish. ah i actually hired a - outsourced a regularoh sorry, a part time spanish lady in columbia and she looks up my spanish site but on thatyoutube channel i wish i could - i was trying
to find it before but we have about half amillion views on that but it's only a recent channel, we've had it for less than a year.and we just uploaded the videos, the duplicated videos, they're translated into spanish andthen we noticed so many who are watching the videos, so many spanish people in spain andin south america and mexico just going nuts watching the videos, so we launched a newsite - a spanish site. and a spanish site, we just sell affiliate products in a spanishniche and it's a regular recurring income, we're making about 3-400 bucks per week justselling affiliate products - wow. and - we're not doing anything else. i havenot uploaded any new videos there for a couple
of months. i've actually also started out- i recently found a spanish girl on fiverr to start making more videos which you cando easily. if you're too scared of people who you think are they've only got faces forradio and they're not really confident about putting their face on video, if they're afraidof doing videos, you can actually get people to do it for you. you can go to fiverr.comor you need to go to odesk or elance or a few other sites that tyrone recommends andyou can actually hire someone there to do videos for you and content for you and thenget them to upload the videos for you and you just send them content or scripts. that is so cool. that was actually my nextthing i want to talk about which is in outsourcing
because this is an outsourcing podcast. yeah. so i mean it's really great that you've donethat but i think it would be really nice if you would mind sharing a little bit more abouthow you came about say for example the girl that you found to talk about in spanish todo these videos for you, how did you come across to them and how did you - what is yourstructure? because obviously these videos are doing really well, quite a number of themtoo and i'm pretty sure she's probably wondering i should probably get paid more than 5 bucksto do these videos. yeah and she - the amazing thing is it's stillonly $5, it's great thing about fiverr but
you're on the money there tyrone. basicallywe hired 4 girls on fiverr.com, we paid them $5 to do a roughly 2-minute video and i findthat 2-3 minutes is good for my niche. good. because the guys - we actually tend to spendand we don't really want to spend much time - just watching people - yeah but i had a talk with my business partnerand we actually came into conclusion, it took us a while but guys wanting dating advicewould be more likely to take the advice from a girl than a guy. it kind of makes sensewhen you think about it - haha.
we'd rather take advice on how to meet girlsfrom a pretty lady rather than from some guy in his kitchen which is usually what i didin most of my videos just sitting in the kitchen talking in the camera. i wonder if you put a below pretty - i wouldn'tsay ugly girl, i wonder what the effect would be on your channel. actually yeah good point, i actually thinkthe same. i think guys just prefer to get advice from girls in any way but we outsourcedthese 4 girls to do regular videos every week sending new videos so it's 4 new videos everyweek has been uploaded to my youtube channel and we found that guys do prefer to get advicefrom girls. and yeah, i mean we have 4 different
attractive girls we've tested - we have ablonde girl, we have a brunette girl, we have a red head girl and - you tested all sorts of colors. but we found - this isn't - tyrone, this isn'tjust videos, this is ads as well with image ads. if anyone's done image ads, if you havea pretty lady in there or even just a lady in a business suit just looking - in a pictureof her, a lady in a business suit, it actually converts much higher than a guy in a businesssuit. so if you want people to click on your ad or click on your video, have a girl onit because girls and guys click on them more universally than just guys.
that's right alex. i'm getting out of thisoutsourcing game. you won't see me anymore, i'm just going to get a girl in front of outsourcinglive and they go and take over all my videos from now on. i might as well get my wife ontothis. that's - yeah it's just the way it is andyou just got to hire someone to help you out with those videos. that's - yeah i took youradvice tyrone - tyrone, for those who - you mentioned before we were in a mastermind groupevery week we sort of on track and keep each other accountable for a task and our goalsare - he said alex, then i make sure you hire, you keep to this task. i want you to hirethese girls and get cracking on that and i did that couple of months ago. and now it'sworked out fine with these girls making heaps
of videos for us and we're getting great amountsof traffic which is fantastic. that's amazing. i mean i'm just looking atit and you've got some amazing content here, i'm not going to say women - content on thesechannels and they're doing exceptionally well. i mean as you said, you've got one that'sclose to 700,000 views and subscribers are just climbing. i remember looking at youroriginal site, you had over 12,000 subscribers and i suspect everytime you send it out bythose channels of those means you're getting a lot of views because just the subscribers. so it's absolutely amazing. well alex, it'sbeen awesome to have you on the call today, i mean you've -
thank you. you've shared some amazing gems. i'm justbeen writing all these down and i can't wait to go out and implement some of these. you'llprobably start seeing me having other channels. i'm not going to say it's - haha. cool. i already did that strategy anyway but it'sworking. i can definitely say that it works and i know personally i do try to make surethat - i learn as much as i can from everyone of you and also too, just to be able to implementeverything that we discussed about and that's why i thought it'd be great to get alex onthe call today because in our mastermind groups
we talk about all these kind of stuff allthe time and it's great to share with everyone. so if people want to get in contact with youalex, find out a little bit more about how you've done all these kind of amazing videos, get to like 6 million views plus, how can they get in contact with you? yeah, great point. they just go to alexcoulson.comso that's alex, a-l-e-x-c-o-u-l-s-o-n.com and yeah just go there, contact me it's quiteeasy to do. and if you have any questions, i'm there for you. awesome. well i'll definitely be putting downa link at the bottom of this podcast and if you do want to check out this podcast, it'sepisode 30. so if you go to outsourcinglive.com/episode30,
